Welcome to Republique. We have many good experiences on offer for English speakers. Below is a guide to shows during the season 2012-13 that have no language barriers. 

 

Performances in English or with no words
The Canadian contemporary circus performance TRACES is an absolute must-see at Republique. The artists have enchanted audiences worldwide. TRACES is breathless, funny, sexy and bursting of revitalizing energy, and has wun the prize "Off Broadway Alliance Award for Best Special Event".

 

BLAM! is the tempestuous, top-tuned action-comedy that received the Jury’s Special Award at the Reumert Awards 2012. LODHO performs TOM WAITS is an incredibly charming theatre concert about one of the greatest music icons of our time. With THE ROOM aerialist Esther Wrobel has created a performance that turns your perception of space up-side-down.

 

Food theatre
The extraordinary food theatre experience VØLVENS SPÅDOM (THE SEERESS’ PROPHECY) is worth a visit because of its unique concept: The food provides an extra dimension to the theatre experience. There is only limited dialogue in the performance and it’s a mixture of Danish and English.

 

Extraordinary visual theatre experiences
Don’t miss the brilliant visual interpretation of PROCESSEN (THE TRIAL) by Republique’s Reumert award winning director Martin Tulinius. This performances is in Danish but still provide you with profound visual experiences.
